Bamboo House India is a social enterprise dedicated to creating sustainable, eco-friendly solutions while empowering marginalized communities.
Founded in 2006, the organization specializes in constructing innovative shelters and products using bamboo, agricultural waste, natural fibers, plastic waste, textile waste, rexine waste, denim waste, seat belt waste, and other upcycled materials.
Its mission is twofold: to address pressing environmental challenges and to generate sustainable livelihoods for rural artisans, tribal communities, self-help groups (SHGs) women, farmers, artisans, refugees and waste-pickers.
