Music theory is a practice musicians use to understand and communicate the language of music. The musical theory examines the fundamentals of music. It also provides a system to interpret musical compositions. For example, basic music theory defines the elements that form harmony, melody, and rhythm. We will look at the basics of music such as the music stave, note values, notes and clefs. As a result, the student who pays attention will be competent enough and be able to read music.

Silver Flute Lesson ( 1 hour ) at your house or via Zoom

These lessons will suit a person who is interested in playing the Silver Flute. In the lessons, we will look at the breathing technique's as well as the notes, note values and much more of this very sophisticated instrument. The outcome of this lesson would be competency in playing the Silver Flute. All lessons are subject to a compulsory preliminary assessment priced at ZAR R320,00 and music theory lessons as well as the silver flute lessons separately.

Piano Basics ( 1 hour ) at your house

The practical lessons cover the fundamentals of piano including basic scales and chords, common progressions and also chord extensions and alterations. The perfect student will be able to play the piano fluently. All lessons are subject to a compulsory preliminary assessment priced at ZAR R320,00 and music theory lessons as well as piano lessons seperately.
