Technical Support Services to Department of Horticulture and Food Processing, Government of Madhya Pradesh for smooth implementation of Prime Minister Formalization of Micro Food Processing
Enterprise (PM FME) scheme of Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) in the state of
Madhya Pradesh
• Detailed Project Report: Support to Micro Entrepreneur, Self Help Groups, Farmer Producer
Organizations and Producer Cooperatives in preparation of Detailed Project Report.
• Capacity Building: Provide training to the Micro Entrepreneur, Self Help Groups, Farmer Producer
Organizations, Producer Cooperatives, District Horticulture officials, District Food Processing officials, District
Resource Persons and Lending Bankers officials on online filing and submission of Detailed Project Report on
MIS portal of the PM FME scheme developed by MoFPI, GoI.
• Gap Assessment: Conducted the pilot study to understand the current challenges and issues being faced in
implementation of the PM FME scheme at ground level, wherein the discussion has been done with the various
stakeholders which includes Chief Development Officers, District Horticulture officials, District Food
Processing officials, District Resource Persons, Lead Bank Managers, Bank Branch Heads, Specialized Bank
Officers, Micro Entrepreneurs, etc. and submitted the final recommendation to the MoFPI, GoI.
• Release of Subsidy: Assist the department in release of capital subsidy to the beneficiaries after sanctioning
& disbursement of credit by lending banks and functional of food processing enterprise by Micro Entrepreneur,
Self Help Groups, Farmer Producer Organizations and Producer Cooperatives.
Stakeholder Management: Coordination with the MoFPI, MP-SRLM, MP-SULM,
